  • Bought 2 HD from him. Please READ, VERY bad trader. Be advised. If anyone wants more info, email me. I have the email replies and picture of the HD.

Since he had NO Heatware I told him to ship first and I will pay it after I test it to make sure it is in proper working order. Well, he was anal about that so we decided that I pay half first then half after I test them. He shipped as agreed but kept rushing for me to pay. I was able to test one HD at that time and he told me the other was a recent RMA and he only opened it for testing so I trusted him and paid the rest...
Well, I put the second HD in a new machine I just built, the machine kept having intermitten hangs and lock ups but I thought it was the mobo, RMA or CPU... I never thought a HD will do that. Anyhow, I was taking things apart and found out that the HD had a pin that goes from the 40pin connection to the PCB broken at the solder joint. I look into it more and found out that it will cause that problem due to signals cross-talking. I contacted Kenbo concerning it and told him the situation. I was quite upset since he kept assuring me that the HD was AOK and all before which made me waste all this time. I told him either refund me the product or if it is under RMA to cover the cost for s/h eventhough that would just waste more of my time but I am trying to make this work.
His respose was "NO", he said he is not responsible if for s/h... since I did not pay extra for s/h...
Look the deal is complete including s/h in total.
MORE important, the seller is responsible for the item to arrive to the buyer in the order agreed... For sure I DID NOT ask for a defective HD and being understanding I was trying to work things out but he would not take of keeping his word.
I got a defective HD from him and now I am screw since if I send it to RMA or back to him then I have to pay for s/h either way. This is NOT right and if this is how anyhow wants there deal to possibly turn out then go ahead but I will NEVER deal with him again.
With this, I mostlikely will never deal with a person without reference again.
It is not the money I am upset about but it's the principle behind it.
