This Eval is the for the purchase of a OEM copy of Windows XP Pro x64 Edition on 7/9/06. I paid in full via paypal on 7/9/06. Seller promised to send serial over email that day, never did even fater three PM\'s asking him to make do on what he said he would do. Seller also promised to ship next day 7.10.06 but item was not shipped until 7.18.06, A Full nine days after purchase. Communication was OUTSTANDING right until payment was sent, then PM after PM, after PM went un answered. Then emails went unanswered. Not until a thread was made about seller was communication restablished. item finally recieved on 7.22.06 even though next day priority shipping was promised.

If you do a search for Devilsadvocate on Anandtech.com you wil lfind a half dozen or so threads about how he doesnt ship for weeks, or never does at all and refunds, the neutrals in his heatwrae should really be negatives. Do not trade with Devils Advocate. He isnt a troll, but has bad trading practices.

I paid for a 19 inch dell lcd on the 18th(early AM)of december. He was supposed to ship it the next day (he could have gotten it out that same day,since I paid him at like 2AM). He said he would send it so I could hopefully get it by Christmas. Guess what, it\'s after New Years and theres no monitor, and hes not responding to emails. Had to file a dispute with paypal. My next step is troll hunters and his local police.

This clown had communication right up to the second I paid him. Dealing with this fool is a waste of time. Out of 8 emails and private messages, he has answered 1 (one), with a one line statement saying hes going to \"check on it\".

The facts: 1. I paid Jeff $50 via non CC PP on June 13th for an OEM Intel D975BK mainboard. 2. A week later he answered a PM I sent inquiring as to the status- \"that he would get it out soon\". 3. Another week later I sent him a PM (6-27) stating that I still haven\'t received anything. He responded on 7-2 that he was \"out of town on business and would look into it\" 4. As of today he still hasn\'t logged onto H forums since 7-02. July 6th he tells another forum member which he has regular contact with that I should call him.

I realize you are extremely busy with your career but as you would know if you enter into and obligation you should be prepared to see it through.

You were not too busy to ship others hardware out, so you could have attended to my purchase.

I believe I have been patient enough, it has been 26 days since I paid you.

I gave him a neutral rating because the trade went as discussed, and everything works, but I would be extremely hesistant to trade with him again.

After discussing and finalizing the deal on Anandtech, I mailed the card out the next day. He received the card on a Tuesday, but didn\'t send me a message until I contacted him later that week. During that time I asked if he could mail the items that I traded for. He agreed and said he would mail out the items very soon.

Almost a week later I received a message asking what my mailing address was. I sent him a reply, and asked that he send the items ASAP since I would be leaving the state soon. He agreed.

The floppy drive and modem came in the mail, and worked fine when tested. There was no cash/check/etc. in the box, and I sent a message to him asking where it was, and if he could send the cash via paypal or some other method since it was part of the trade. The money arrived via paypal soon after.

So, the trade when ok, but I was disappointed with the speed at which things went. I realize that he may have been rather busy at the time of the trade, but I wonder if anything would have been shipped if I had not sent out multiple emails asking on the status of the trade.

Trade started good then went awry. He forgot to ship and lied about it. He shipped it 11 days later. Item did arrive in working order once shipped.

paid for an iMac on Wed, Sept. 28 via paypal for the amount of $750 to DA. He made no contact with me again until the 5th, even after one PM requesting a DC number and one Email requesting the same. He said he was out of town and everything had been shipped.

He said it was mailed and I asked for the DC number, didn't get anything.

On the 6th I asked for the DC number again, no response.

On the 7th I asked for the DC number again, twice, no response.

He eventually offered to refund my money, on Oct. 13. It was in the form of an e-check, so I didn't end up getting my money back until the 18th.

Started off with great communication, then I heard nothing for nearly 4 days. The last message I received was \\\"tracking info to follow\\\", didnt receive tracking info and then nothing for 4 days. CPU eventually came, well packaged, but very late. Had I known I wouldve had to wait so long, I wouldnt have done business with him. After this dealing, I cant personally give him positive feedback although the packaged came as described, because of the lack of communication. Online dealings rely on good communication.
