Sold a Razer Arctosa Black keyboard in mint condition.
hube235 was the Buyer on October 28, 2011 AnandTech
EDIT: MAY 29th. 2012.
I have reversed my decision on the negative feedback. If I had packed properly everything could have been avoided. I have learned my lessens the hard way. I hope that you can do the same for.
okay where do i even start.I sent the buyer a keyboard in mint condition. USPS destroyed the poor keyboard by the time it got there. I promised the buyer a full refund and told him to keep the keyboard. Then exams hit me (yes i am still in college.) I signed on week later to see an escalated claim on paypal. I sent him a message on through paypal and authorized a refund IMMEDIATELY. The very next day he left me a negative feed back saying that i NEVER contacted him? and it was paypal admins who give him the refund back? I am just really damn upset that the buyer didn't even read the message that it was a BUYER AUTHORIZED refund attached with a letter of APOLOGY explaining why the refund was a little late. oh well, life goes on. Needless to say i'll never deal with this guy again.
EDIT:
NOTE on 11/21/11. I Authorized Refund and attached with that refund saying sorry. I didn't check paypal, facebook, or anything for a little more than a week because that's how i study for exams. You STILL say that Paypal Authorized the payment and I ignored you, which is False. What do admins say about LYING?? You should familiarize yourself with paypal payment system prior to deal with others on this forum.
It doesn't matter how many rules to cite. You failed to see that I authorized the refund and apologized.
I still can't believe I got a negative over a $30 dollar keyboard and someone who can't read.(Hube is the only NEGATIVE, i have ever given out)
THE END.
Response from hube235First off, I for one will call this retaliatory feedback. Please check the forum rules for heatware and trading. Under the section "PPPPPP", which stands for Prior

Your excuse for lack of response falls under #4: Midterms/Finals coming up, which goes along the lines of school obligations. I'm in school too, and if I know that if the burden of school won't allow me to respond to PMs or emails within a few days, then I won't do business until I know I can dedicate those precious few minutes at the computer to read emails/PMs.
I never received any indicator that you authorized a refund with any attachment, let alone a letter of apology.
Here's a timeline of our transaction:
10/29/11: I send payment a day after we agree to the transaction
11/10/11: I inspect the keyboard. It is in poor condition. Buyer claims that the courier is responsible, but I blame the seller and courier. The keyboard had insufficient packaging, aside from the original plastic packaging which did not offer enough protection. I email the seller to inform that the keyboard is damaged and open a paypal dispute as a precaution.
11/11/11: Seller replies and tells me to keep the keyboard. He will raise a dispute with USPS as well as refund me "no problem". The seller also tells me he doesn't need me to ship the keyboard back.
11/12/11: A day later, after receiving no response from paypal, I escalate my dispute to a claim.
11/21/11: 9 days later, with no response from the seller, Paypal decided in my favor that I will recieve the refund. No where does it state the that refund was initiated by the seller, in the dispute resolution page, or any email from Paypal. I receive my refund, and the case is closed.
As the Anandtech Moderater said in the forum rules, I quote "And that's all this really amounts to ... taking responsibilty for your actions, and implementing a plan to maintain honest, ethical trading practices. You are all old enough to know better, so why act like you need a nurse maid to hold your hand to get the job done?
Your word is your bond, your word is your rep, and your actions speak louder than all the words combined. If you cant maintain and keep your word, and if you can't meet your obligations, then you have NO business doing business here. PLEASE do everyone a favor, including yourself, and dont do business where people depend on you to perform your duty to them, and conduct business in a mature and honorable fashion."

Hubert kept in good contact throughout the buying process and asked good questions. He sent the payment quickly and inspected the system properly when it arrived. He noted the wifi antennas got bent during shipping and let me know objectively, and I sent him a partial refund for the damage. All is well. I would work with Hubert again. Thanks!
