I had just recently sold a motherboard to Jason when I saw he had a FS thread going on AT. I was going to give him a free bump and noticed that he had a WTB list in there too, one of the items was an AGP card. I was in the middle of a deal, waiting to receive a new GF4 128MB card at the time. I PM'd him to see if he'd be interested in the old 32MB card after I had a chance to install and test the new card.

He was interested and we agreed on a price, we arranged to have him pay after I shipped out the card. I got the new card, made the swap and immediately boxed up the old card and sent it his way. He paid via PayPal without delay. After a couple of days, having had a chance to test the card out, he PM'd me to let me know that the card was non-op for him.

I was a bit surprised seeing it was running in my main system less than a week before. I replied with some tips for troubleshooting and also offered to immediately refund his PayPal + and extra $10 to ship it back to me and apologized for the inconvenience.

Jason tried other agp cards successfully but didn't have another board to try my card in so he declined the offer of the extra cash and said he'd ship it back for an even refund of his payment.

I received tracking info and then the card a few days later packaged well. I suspect the fan may be shakey but haven't found a replacement to test it with yet.

Jason was extremely cooperative and understanding with this issue. I would doubt highly that many traders would refuse the extra refund if offered as well. He is definitely a top notch trader on my Good Traders list! I look forward to dealing with Jason on AT FS/FT again in the future.
