32X CDRW I sent for FREE, plus FREE OVERNIGHT shipping. He says he "needs" the drive.
razor2025 was the Buyer on November 27, 2003 AMDMB
First, he PM's me from another member's thread saying he NEEDS the drive. I ship overnight for free, drive was free, and he complains about the drive smelling like smoke..and he'll use it in a "back-up" system, or a "charity" system....then why did you TELL me you NEEDED the drive. Another member in NEED could have had this drive who would have USED it, and been happy about it. REALLY TICKED ME OFF. I am therefore leaving a negative reference just because of BAD MANNERS. I expect he'll try to send me bad heat also, but what can he say...."Oh, this bad, bad man sent me a free drive with free overnight shipping, and I complained because it smelled like smoke" Whatever. I have all PM's regarding this FREE transaction if requested.
Response from razor2025Ok this guy has serious attitude issues. I just asked him about the drive having a funny smell. Then he just went on offensive stance without any reason. I told him I'll leave him a positive feedback for his generosity, but I guess he decided to do something stupid.November 27, 2003

Ktechster (8)
2 sticks of 256mb DDR
razor2025 was the Seller on December 12, 2004 AnandTech
I expressed my need for needing the ram urgently and agreed to paypal quickly if he agreed to ship out on designated date, which he did. About a week later I got the package, only to find out it was a 'wrong item'. After contacting him, a day later he responds to say for me to ship to the other guy, and he will 'ask' the other person to ship the ram to me.
What bothers me most is even though he shipped a tad bit late to me, (shipping agreement was on December 9th) after receiving the wrong 'item' (14th), The ram wasn't even technically shipped out. According to postage mark and Delivery confirmation, package was physically enroute on December 16th to the other party, AFTER I contacted him beforehand. I contacted him on the 15th, saying I have a wrong item, on the 16th ram was shipped to OTHER party. Seems to make the story more legible, he shipped to other party instead of me, even though I contacted him before his late shipping to the other party of MY ram.
The whole experience does not smell right. Bottom line, I am not angry. A bit upset cause I expressed I needed the ram urgently and nothing went as agreed. It took delays, and ultimately received the ram on the 24th of December.
I was not truly happy with this experience. Regardless if this was a 'mistake', some evidence speaks for itself. I cannot leave positive, and wont leave negative. However I will leave a neutral and will warn others if you make an agreement, please make sure he keeps his end of the deal. Any more information on this can be viewed on the anandtech thread I posted in this matter.
Response from razor2025Wow.. talk about being a unreasonable guy...
For one thing, shipping a day or two later is NOT that big of a deal. People have LIFE. I can only goto the post office when I can. As for shipping the item to wrong location, it was honest mistake and common one at selling things online. I'm sure anyone who has traded the amount I have, have done things such as mixing up shipping labels. Regardless, I've already refunded shipping charges to Ktechster, so I don't see why he HAD to leave a neutral and start a thread on FS/FT trying to damage my reputation out of this small incident.
Here's the thread

Wasn't the smoothest trade, but it was my fault. But everything turned out well (which, of course, is always the most important factor), he got the card in working condition, I got his money order. No complaints here.
