I purchased his Compaq laptop that he advertised on Anandtech. We agreed I would pay by check, after the laptop arrived to me. In return, I agreed to send a copy of my driver's license to him before he shipped me the laptop.

This was perhaps the best trade I have ever done. Ed was very understanding that I did not want to send $1055 to someone who had less references than me, and agreed to ship first and allow me to pay once I had inspected the laptop. He shipped promptly and allowed me the weekend to play with my new toy. Not only was the laptop in fabulous condition, but everything worked as advertised. Perhaps the most impressive part of the trade was Ed's packaging job. I opened the oversize box to find everything organized neatly and wrapped in mucho layers of heavy bubble wrap. This was a tight packing job. Just to see how much bubble wrap he used, I removed the contents, unwrapped them, and put just the bubble wrap back into the container, which was then over 75% filled up! Best packing job I have ever seen, EVER. Ed was very considerate through the whole trade and he would be on my top 5 list of recommended traders. Thanks so much for this refreshing deal, Ed!
