Trevor was extremely communicative. He tested the motherboard before shipping out and found that it had a boot loop error. He then went back to Microcenter to find another open box unit and tested it before shipping out.

It turns out that this model is really picky with memory and mine had the same issue but I was eventually able to sort it out.
