We agreed to terms and though he only had 3 refs, I really appreciated the way he conducted himself and he was willing to give me all his personal contact info in case anything went sour in the deal. After talking to him on the phone, I sent a large part of my end first so he could copy files over, he then promptly sent out the laptop and I then finished the deal. It ended up taking a while, but he was very patient and we remained in constant contact so I don't think either one of us ever felt uncomfortable with the deal.
