i paypaled him the funds because he had good heat and had traded with people i'd traded with in the past. I paypaled him and i got no communication from him. i pm'd him a couple of times during a 5 day period and no response from him. i called him on the number he gave me and as soon as i asked for "gregshin" he hung up. the next day he pm'd me that everything was ok.

well it wasn't ok with me. i don't have a problem with people shipping late as long as they communicate. he did a poor job of communicating. i will not trade with him again. i won't give him a negative as the product did eventually arrive, it was sealed. but i can't give him a positive either.

Communications were great initially and the product was shipped promptly. However, I did not receive the SCSI cable that was supposed to be included with the card. I PM'd him about it, he apologized and said it would be sent shortly. A week later I received another PM saying he was moving and would ship it later that week. That was over a month ago, I have not received any cable or further response from him since then. I'm giving a neutral since I did receive the card promptly, but the lack of cable and communications after the sale have me a bit concerned.

Well this is a STRONG NEUTRAL warning to anyone dealing with Gregshin. It looks like he is on the verge of becoming a full-blown bad trader. I was trying to be understanding since he took almost two weeks to get the processor to me and I asked that he ship it quickly. NO COMMUNICATIONS at all until I complained and he finally sent it. He said he'd send me a stick of RAM to make up for it...never did. Sent him a PM and he again said he'd do an eval for me and send the RAM..HE DIDN'T! No communications at all and just a bad deal all around since he also sent the chip with no protection for the pins and then wrapped tap so tightly around the bubble-wrapped processor he bent several pins in one corner...severely. It took me almost two hours to get the processor's delicate pins to line up. I would have sent it back but I was desparate to get the PC running by the time I got it.

This probably should be a NEGATIVE really, so I'd think twice about buying from him.
