I did have an issue with this trade that was resolved later. Here is part of my PM to him about it:

I think I was lead to believe that the screen was in better condition than it actually is: there are definitely scratches on the screen from rubbing against the trackpoint and keyboard. I asked in an earlier PM if the screen was scratched and you replied no. These are more than finger oils; it\'s the result of abrasion. However common it may be with thinkpads, this detail wasn\'t mentioned at all even when I asked about the screen.

I don\'t think my reaction is unreasonable. I didn\'t expect a brand new machine; I was looking for a used one and you noted that it was in good shape. However, I did inquire about a particular detail (as it was an aspect important to me) and do not think I got an accurate answer.
