The item was sent in its original packaging (a thick cardboard box), with all of the voids in the box filled with packing peanuts. In addition, each separate part of the item was enclosed in bubble wrap within the box. On top of that, the box itself was covered in a layer of bubble wrap and placed within a generic cardboard box. A superb job of packing!!
